It's my favorite day of the week! It's Funday Friday! Who wouldn't love this day, huh? Everyone loves Fridays! Although I have several tasks in my To-Do list today, I don't really mind at all. Anyway, it's the weekend tomorrow and it's my mom-in-law's birthday celebration too!

In another cognitive approach, Maxie maultsby* suggested "rational self-counseling" with middle school students by teaching them to check the rationality of their thoughts using 5 basic questions:

1. Are my thoughts based on obvious facts?
2. Do these thoughts help me PROTECT my life and health?
3. Will these thoughts help me ACHIEVE my short-term and long-term goals?
4. Do these thoughts help me PREVENT unwanted conflicts with other people?

When students honestly answer "no" to three or more of these questions, they identify irrational thoughts that need to be altered. - Most of the time, I go for the classic --- jollibee. But if I'm carving for something hot, it's kfc baby!

- Pepsi. But lately, I rarely drink softdrinks.

- It's definitely the C-A-B!

We were attending our pre-cana with this group of couples. We were sitting infront and the facilitator was discussing about God's gifts and blessings to people. Money, career, good health. Out of the blue, she asked my husband "what is God's greatest blessing to you?" My husband answered "my fiancee..." and kissed me. Awww! I blushed out of kilig and happiness!

9. Describe how he/you proposed to you.

I lost my winnie the pooh stress-ball-like keychain. We were in his room one time and he suddenly pushed my missing pooh with his forefinger on the bed. And on pooh's ear, my engagement ring was attached!

10. What do you usually do on your dates?

Foodtrip. Lakadtrip. Or a movie marathon at home with arms entwined.=)

What time do you usually wake up? => set my alarm at 5, climb out of bed at 530. but on days when hubby and I have to do our 30-minute exercise, we get out of bed at 5.

What’s the first thing you do? => hug my hubby and sing to his ear our good morning greeting/wake-up call (hehehe)

Breakfast? => cereals and milk on weekdays, pandesal or rice on weekends

Do you go to work/school? => i work in a school so i guess my answer is both;)

Do you like it? => the experience is priceless

If you stay at home, what do you do all day? => prepare hubby's baon and stuff. sleep. do scraps. sleep. read. then maybe sleep again.

When’s lunch and what you eatin’? => just had one. pork caldereta. i cooked it!

What time do you get home from work/school? => i'm off at 4, home by 415. i live so near my workplace!

What do you do? => as a grade school guidance counselor, i help kids see and understand options they have at hand. i also at times make them realize their potentials to be successful Reesians

Dinner: When and what? => hmmm. i'll probably cook the embutido my mother-in-law gave us. that's around 9pm tonight since hubby gets home around that time.

What do you do to unwind? => listen to loud music. or dance. or sleep. or do scraps. or take photos. or read. or get a massage from hubby. or massage my hubby.

What’s your favorite part of the day? => morning weekends!

It's almost 3 in the afternoon yet I haven't even posted a single entry today. A lot of you maybe wondering why. Well, it's a big day for us at work today, beginning 9a.m. until 5p.m. It's the time of the school year wherein we discuss every incident that has happened the past quarter, both the good and the bad cases. We look back at our students' progress and reflect how we could encourage thm to do better. We discuss how we could work out certain issues too. In other words, it's a meeting madness day.

I'm so happy it's a t-g-i-Friday. I can deal with the whole day meeting. Anyway, the weekend is here already. I'm passing this weekend greeting to my gorgeous blogmates Rosell, Bunnie and Suzanne. You won't mind spreading the weekend greeting, would you?
